Johor Port has evolved to become a strategic Offshore Inspection, Maintenance & Repair Center (OIMR) in the region. KTMB MMC Cargo and Johor Port Berhad (under the same MMC Corporation Group of Companies with Johor Port Berhad) have forged strong bilateral business relationships with the oil majors, rig owners, rig builders as well as total logistics providers.

Johor Port is already serving reputable off-shore players such as Transocean, SapuraAcergy, TL Offshore, Emas Offshore, Serimax, Altus Logistics and handles various oil rigs, floating production, storage and offloading and barges which call the port for repair and maintenance services since Year 1997.

In conjunction to this, the momentum of demand for the berthing facility and lay-up area for offshore rigs or vessels to undergo repairs, modifications, retrofitting and conversions is building up. Therefore, we are inviting the oil rig owners, builders and logistics providers to use and leverage our OIMR facilities and logistics services.
